Q1: How many roommates ?

 

The house in forty-eight rue de l’Hippodrome 1730 has been totally renovated and is separated in 3 apartments with each 4 rooms to rent. Each apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 toilet except the first apartment which is premium and has 2 bathrooms and a small cosy kitchen

Q2: Who are our tenants in general?

Our guests are usually young professionals between 20 and 35 years, well-educated and polyglot.

All are young academics of various nationalities mainly from Europe, coming to Luxembourg for an internship or a first job.

The atmosphere in our residencies is happy, friendly and convivial.

You will be able to network and to exchange experiences with your roommates.

The frequency of public transportation during the week is high, 5 to 10 min

Q6: Do I get a rental contract and can I register me to your address?

Yes, you get a rental contract.

Q7: Are visits allowed?

Allowed for max. 6 nights per month, no extra fees.

Q8: What is included in the rent / any extra costs?

Prices include fast Wifi, weekly cleaning of the common parts, all utility bills

Q9: Will there be any inventory?
  1. In general, no inventory is made during the check-in nor check-out with you.
  2. The room is deemed to be in perfect condition when you move in.
  3. However, if you do notice any problem, please advice us  immediately.
  4. Our housekeeping staff will inspect your room carefully once you have left and inform us of any subsequent problem.
  5. If any problem is noted, you will be informed and any subsequent charge will be deducted from your deposit.
Q10 : Check-in / Check-out

Check in is after 15h:

  1. As soon we get the payment we deliver you the entrance code for the main door, the pin for your keysafe next to your room door in order to get the room key. We also provide you the password for the Wifi. (password is good for all Internet access points in the house)

Check out is before 11h:

  1. Before leaving your premises, please make sure that you have collected ALL your personal belongings from your room, the bathroom, the kitchen, the laundry room …
  2. Don’t forget to empty your fridge/cupboard compartment.
  3. leave the towel and the bed sheets (pulled) on the bed.
  4. empty the bin and leave the key in the little safe.
  5. If you have registered your legal address to this one  then you have to deregister when you move out. We charge 50€ if you don’t.
  6. In case you lose your key, we charge you 50€
  7. Early termination fee: 185€
Q11: Payments?

Rent is always paid in advance at a monthly base via bank transfer.

Q12: Internet?

Each floor has an Wifi high speed internet access point. (1000 mbit/per sec)

Q13: What is the difference between Premium and Standard rooms?
  1.  Have more space.
  2.  Bathroom is shared with only another room.
  3.  A double Bed 140x200 (Standard 120x200)
  4.  A couch
  5.  A TV (google chrome cast)
  6.  Access to a small kitchen for breakfast.
Q14: Parking?

In general, parking your car in the street is not free from 8am to 6pm monday to friday and it costs more or less 1€ per hour. Weekends are free

If you become Lux. Resident (mandatory from 6 months on), parking is free in your district (e.g. Bonnevoie) and outside of your district 2 hours free.
